Things are likely to go a bit quiet here over the next little while. I have a number of projects I'm attempting to get on top of. Considering they're all lengthy projects it's not giving me much time for short works or weekly exercise writing. The other down side to this is general feeling of isolation these large projects have given me. Working through the theatre was such a fantastic experience simply because I was working with other people rather than slaving alone in front of a computer. Isolated. It sucks. It would be worse if there wasn't all a reason for it. What I've got on my plate is going to take a significant amount of my time for at least a couple of months but everything I'm doing has a direction. That's the good part. Work now (hopefully) means reward later. All I can do is wait. I've been writing a lot to music I've downloaded from the Lost Children Net Label. There's a lot of fantastic music there. Particularly incredibly is sleepmakeswaves's 'In Today Already Walks Tomorrow'. david shute - Feb 16, 2009 at 9:08 PM |
