I wanted to pop in here and make a quick update. Script Frenzy is only a short four days away. Typically I keep a journal of what I'm doing within the Celtx project that I'm working on. Well holy shit. A whole lot going on and entirely nothing at the same time. In less than two weeks I have a short film shoot coming up. It's part of a community film project being done through the Celtx forums. Not sponsored by Celtx or anything, just a bunch of forum folks getting together and working on something for the simple desire to do something. If things go well I'm hoping to have two other projects shot within the next month. The first is the quick commercial project that I entered in to the Celtx 'Against Malaria' competition last year. I wanted to film it then but the weather didn't agree with me before the deadline and then quickly spiraled in to autumn and then winter after that. Since the weather should be nice this Saturday I'm planning to shoot it then. The second is 'The New Face of Security.' That one is going to be significantly more difficult. I have 80% of what I need for that. In fact I have everything I need except for one person. Casting my agent is going to be hard. I have a couple of ideas but I have no idea if they'd even be interested let alone right for the part. Learning about some local resources I wish I known about sooner. Have some shit I need to look in to as soon as possible. Looking forward to my little girl being born in 11 weeks.
